General Department of Logistics and Technology inspects the work to ensure mission A80

On June 27, a working delegation of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering led by Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc, Director of the General Department, inspected the logistics and technical support work of units performing tasks during the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (task A80). The delegation included leaders and commanders of functional agencies under the General Department of Logistics and Engineering.

The units reported to the inspection team the results of logistics and technical support for the A80 mission since receiving the mission. The focus was on ensuring equipment, weapons, and ammunition for the vehicles and artillery; the technical condition of the vehicles serving the mission; ensuring accommodation, food hygiene and safety, military medicine, military uniforms, and necessities for the training force...

The working group of the General Department of Logistics and Technology inspected the equipment and vehicles serving the A80 mission at the National Military Training Center 4.

Through on-site inspections at locations, the working group assessed that the units had thoroughly grasped the directives and instructions of superiors, closely coordinated with relevant forces to build and organize well the gathering locations for vehicles and technical equipment in accordance with regulations and safety; and done a good job of managing, preserving, and maintaining weapons, equipment, and military equipment in preparation for practicing to perform the tasks of marching and parading.

On behalf of the working delegation, Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc acknowledged and commended the forces for their efforts, proactively overcoming all difficulties, ensuring good technical work for equipment, weapons, and vehicles serving the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Emphasizing that the time from now until the anniversary is not long, to successfully complete the task, requiring great efforts from each sector and each individual, Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc requested units to well implement plans to organize forces and vehicles to serve the tasks according to the plan of the superiors; regularly check and re-examine the technical condition of vehicles and motorbikes, the qualifications of drivers and repairmen, promptly fix damage, replace spare parts to ensure the best technical condition for equipment, weapons, vehicles and artillery.
