During the 2 days, more than 100 cadres and employees working in mass mobilization from units of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering in the Central Highlands region will study the following topics: Ethnic minorities in Vietnam; some State policies on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; preserving and promoting the values and cultural identities of ethnic minorities to meet the requirements of sustainable development; promoting the role of the grassroots political system in socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; implementing the Party's viewpoints and policies on ethnic work; some new issues on national defense and security in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

In his speech, Major General Vu Van Cuong emphasized that mass mobilization work in ethnic minority and mountainous areas is an important political task, of long-term strategic significance for the Army in general and the General Department of Logistics and Engineering in particular. In recent times, units in the General Department have effectively implemented many models of "Smart Mass Mobilization", actively propagating and mobilizing people to strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area.

To continue to equip a comprehensive knowledge system on ethnic affairs, culture, customs and practices of ethnic minorities; update new legal policies of the Party and State and improve the capacity and responsibility of the team of mass mobilization cadres in the new situation, in 2025, the General Department of Logistics and Engineering organized training courses in the North, South and Central Highlands.

The Deputy Commissar of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering requested that the training course organizing committee, the reporters and the trainees uphold their sense of responsibility. The training course organizing committee must closely coordinate with agencies, units and forces; do a good job of directing, managing, maintaining the correct implementation of the determined plan and program, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.

The reporters must update the new policies of our Party and State towards ethnic minority and mountainous areas; introduce the key and core issues of each topic, focusing on connecting, applying, imparting experience and orienting the solution to practical problems. The trainees participating in the training course must study seriously, discover, propose content, measures, creative and effective ways to carry out mass mobilization work in ethnic minority and mountainous areas...
