Participating in the National Socio-Economic Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, the Ministry of Industry and Trade was assigned by the Party and State to organize two main areas at the exhibition. The first area focuses on displaying the achievements of the Industry and Trade sector over 80 years of history, from the early days of the resistance war to the industrialization and modernization period in the "Development and Construction" space.
The second area is the "Startup and Nation Building" space, which honors the role of the private economy in the spirit of Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development.
As of August 26, the "Khoi ky Kien quoc" space at the National Exhibition and Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ) has been basically completed, ready for the opening ceremony on August 28.
According to Mr. Vu Ba Phu - Director of the Trade Promotion Department, nearly 100 businesses have worked hard day and night for more than half a month to complete the display items.
"After many inspections, today we can confirm that the businesses have basically completed the hard infrastructure as well as booth decoration. We are completely assured that the businesses are ready for the opening ceremony," Mr. Phu emphasized.
Mr. Phu added that Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien directly inspected the event for the last time on the afternoon of August 26, preparing for the rehearsal on the morning of August 27, ensuring the event was opened solemnly and as planned.
This is an unprecedentedly large-scale event, with the business exhibition area alone covering more than 1.9 hectares. Although it was the first time it was organized on a national scale, making many businesses bewildered, the Trade Promotion Agency has always accompanied and supported 24/7 to promptly remove difficulties and ensure progress. Thanks to that, up to now, the exhibition booths have not only been completed on time but also achieved high quality.
The highlight of this year’s exhibition is not only the grandeur but also the depth of the message conveyed by each booth. Many businesses have cleverly recreated their development journey, closely linked to the growth of the country’s economy.
"We clearly see the serious investment and dedication of businesses. They not only want to introduce products but also want to recreate a part of history, demonstrating the process of innovation and integration, self-reliance and self-reliance of Vietnam," said Mr. Phu.
With the message "Vinamilk 50 years of pioneering Vietnam - Reaching the world", Vinamilk's two booths vividly recreated the journey of a national brand to grow with the country. For the first time, Vinamilk provided an overview of technological breakthroughs, notably the area demonstrating dual vacuum technology to "lock in the freshness" of natural milk. The booth also had interactive game areas and virtual reality experiences, attracting visitors of all ages.
As one of the few brands in Vietnam that owns a closed production chain "from A to Z", Giovanni brings a space to display live demonstrations of the stages of handmade handbag production. Visitors can witness the process of creating a high-end product, from choosing environmentally friendly materials to the sophisticated finishing by the hands of skilled Vietnamese craftsmen.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Phi - Chairman of Giovanni Group, shared: "We consider this exhibition as an opportunity to tell the brand story, proving that Vietnam is completely capable of mastering technology, creating high-end products that are competitive in the global market. This is a way for businesses to affirm their position in the global value chain".
The presence of private enterprises is not only an exhibition event, but also a clear demonstration of the comprehensive development of the Industry and Trade sector, from processing industry, textiles, footwear to energy and e-commerce.
"We believe that through this exhibition, international friends will see the image of a confident, dynamic, creative and sustainable Vietnam. This is also a strong affirmation of the position of the Industry and Trade sector in the country's development process," said the Director of the Trade Promotion Agency.
