Cooperation to promote Vietnam's high-tech industry

Viettel Group and Dassault Systèmes Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen strategic cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), digital design and digital simulation.

Under the agreement, Dassault Systèmes will collaborate with Viettel AI and Viettel Group’s member companies to integrate the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and AI/ML solutions into Viettel’s projects in the fields of smart manufacturing and digital transformation. The collaboration will explore applications such as AI-based product design and simulation, virtual twin modeling, manufacturing optimization, natural language processing, robotics, and AI-based data analytics for research and development (R&D).

At the same time, joint initiatives will promote research and development (R&D), human resource development and AI application in Viettel's priority areas including semiconductors, manufacturing and telecommunications.

The two parties will establish a joint framework to identify and implement initiatives that will strengthen Viettel’s innovation chain and support Vietnam’s long-term industrial development. The MoU also emphasizes human resource development and training, equipping Viettel’s workforce with new digital capabilities and AI applications to meet future technology needs and accelerate the process of national skill upgrading.

This partnership supports Viettel’s aspiration to strengthen its position in strategic technology industries, especially semiconductors, by integrating Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform into the entire innovation process, from design and simulation to manufacturing and operations.

The first memorandum of understanding between Dassault Systèmes and Viettel marks the beginning of a strong partnership. Pilot projects with stakeholder participation are expected to be implemented in the coming months.

Dassault Systèmes has reaffirmed its long-term commitment to Vietnam’s digital future by expanding its presence through strategic partnerships to drive local innovation and support sustainable industrial growth. In 2024, Dassault Systèmes has partnered with the Vietnam National Innovation Center to accelerate digital innovation in key industries such as smart factories, semiconductors and digital telecommunications.
