News, pepper price forecast tomorrow 7/1/2025
After the sharp increase on July 1, many experts predict that pepper prices tomorrow (July 2) may continue to increase from 500 to 1,000 VND/kg. Key provinces such as Dak Lak, Dak Nong, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau are expected to reach 139,000 VND/kg if demand from export enterprises continues to increase. Meanwhile, Binh Phuoc, with its recent impressive increase, is forecast to maintain high prices around 136,000 - 137,000 VND/kg.
However, some cautious opinions warn that pepper prices may fluctuate if there is profit-taking from traders or small businesses, causing the market to fluctuate unpredictably in the short term.
Domestic market on July 1, 2025
Pepper growers in the Central Highlands and Southeast provinces are facing a difficult choice between selling to lock in profits or continuing to hold onto their crops in the hope that prices will rise further. In Chu Se District (Gia Lai), some households said they would consider selling part of their crop if the price exceeds VND138,000/kg in the next 1-2 days to rotate capital for the new crop. However, most farmers are still holding onto their crops in the hope that pepper prices will surpass the peak of VND140,000/kg in July.
The domestic market is showing signs of becoming more active again after recent price fluctuations, but it is still necessary to closely monitor profit-taking moves that could cause price fluctuations.
International market on July 2, 2025
According to information from export enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai, orders from international partners such as China, India and Europe are showing signs of a slight increase after a period of stagnation in May and early June. If this trend continues in the first week of July, domestic pepper prices have a basis to continue to increase.
In particular, large orders paid immediately in USD are considered an important driving force to help improve domestic prices, create favorable conditions for exports and promote pepper prices to increase in the coming time.
