On August 18, Krong Pak Commune Police, Dak Lak Province, said that they had just coordinated with the professional departments of Dak Lak Province Police to verify and track down the woman who hit a lottery ticket seller and then fled.

According to initial information, in the early morning of August 17, Ms. Q. (born in 1980, residing in village 1, Krong Pak commune) was selling lottery tickets on Provincial Road 9, passing through village 4, Krong Pak commune, Dak Lak province, when she was hit by a woman riding an electric car in the same direction.
As a result, Ms. Q. suffered multiple serious injuries. After causing the accident, the woman riding the electric bike fled. Ms. Q. was discovered by local residents and taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Upon receiving the report of the incident, Krong Pak Commune Police coordinated with the professional departments of Dak Lak Provincial Police to examine the scene and begin the investigation. Using professional measures, after only 3 hours, the police force tracked down the woman who caused the accident, Ms. L. (born in 1955, residing in the same commune).
At the police station, Ms. L. confessed that because it was dark and there was a car going in the opposite direction with bright lights, Ms. L. did not see the woman walking in the same direction, so she hit her. Because she was too scared and thought that it was dark and there were no cameras around, no one would notice, she left the victim behind, then took her car and left the scene. While Ms. L. was at home, the police came to her house and invited her to the headquarters to work.

The victim is currently being treated at the Central Highlands Regional Hospital and is no longer in critical condition. Dak Lak Provincial Police are continuing to consolidate the case file to handle the case in accordance with the law.
