Attending the event were representatives of Da Nang city leaders; invited guests, scholars, international experts; representatives of departments, agencies, members of the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee of the Exam; representatives of local leaders, units, schools in the city.
The 25th International Mathematics Competition - VIMC 2025 has gone through challenging rounds and exciting activities.

Accordingly, 553 contestants from 29 countries and territories, along with the host team Vietnam, competed enthusiastically through three rounds. In which, the Individual round included: EMIC (including 15 questions in 90 minutes, maximum 150 points) and IWYMIC (including 15 questions in 120 minutes, maximum 120 points).
The teams also participate in the Team Round, where 4 contestants solve 10 problems in 70 minutes with a high spirit of cooperation, to win a maximum of 400 points.

After the scoring and review process, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes at three levels: individual, team and group.
The Vietnamese delegation won 18 individual awards (6 Gold Medals, 4 Silver Medals, 8 Bronze Medals). The overall championship belonged to Vietnam and Singapore.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded additional prizes such as: Cultural exchange prize, Game prize, Outstanding individual prize, Individual team prize, Collective team prize and Grand prize.
Mr. Mai Quang Huy, Representative of the VIMC 2025 Jury, assessed that this year's exam covered many diverse areas of mathematics and was more difficult than previous years.

"What impressed the judges was not only the correct solutions but also the diversity of approaches. Many problems had many valid solutions, demonstrating the creative thinking of the contestants," said Mr. Mai Quang Huy.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the contest, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan said that the success of VIMC 25 was the result of the attention and direction from the International IMC Executive Board, the leaders of the City Party Committee, the People's Council, the City People's Committee; the close support of the Vietnam-Korea University of Information Technology and Communications, the active support of departments, agencies, and volunteers. Especially the enthusiastic response of domestic and international delegations.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City Tran Anh Tuan believes that today's success will be the foundation for the next seasons to continue to reach out, connect and spread the values of knowledge, creativity and friendship.
