Tien Giang: Awarding ceremony of the Beautiful Photo Contest with the theme "Family reading books connects love" in 2025

(ABO) The Provincial Library in collaboration with the Literature and Arts Association and the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) of Tien Giang province has just organized the Award Ceremony of the Beautiful Photo Contest with the theme "Family reading books connects love" in 2025. Attending the ceremony were Director of the Provincial Library Vo Nam Phuoc; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Tien Giang province Nguyen Thanh Luan.

The contest received 175 photo entries. After 2 preliminary and final rounds, the Organizing Committee selected 56 best photos to post on the Tien Giang Provincial Library Fanpage for voting.

The 2025 Photo Contest with the theme “Family reading connects love” was organized in the form of posting on Facebook and received the attention of many people in the province. The photo works with hundreds of thousands of interactions (likes and shares) created a strong spread of the Contest.

After a fair and thorough evaluation process based on the following criteria: Composition, light, color, subject of the photo; location; emotional message; high interaction... and some other criteria, the Organizing Committee decided to award 18 prizes to the best works with the following prize structure: 1 First prize, 5 Second prizes, 12 Third prizes.

The Photo Contest with the theme "Family reading books connects love" in 2025 is organized to spread and develop the reading culture in every family, school, and community towards building and forming beauty in the cultural and spiritual life of the people. Thereby, contributing to building a learning society according to the content of Plan 482/KH-UBND dated December 19, 2024 of the People's Committee of Tien Giang province on deploying, developing and replicating the model of family bookcases, clan bookcases, school bookcases, the model "Family reading books - Connecting love" in Tien Giang province.
