On June 30, the leader of the My Son World Cultural Heritage Management Board (Thu Bon Commune, Da Nang City, formerly Duy Xuyen District, Quang Nam) said that the Prime Minister has just issued a decision approving the task of planning to preserve, restore, and promote the value of the special national relic My Son Temple Complex until 2035, with a vision to 2050.
According to the decision, the planning research area has an area of about 30,875 hectares, within the administrative unit where the relic is located, including the area to protect the special national relic My Son Temple Complex and the area to protect relics related to My Son Temple Complex such as Tra Kieu, Bang An, Thu Bon River basin, archaeological sites, and other Champa ruins.

The planning scale is the entire area of 1,158 hectares of protected zones 1 and 2 of the special national relic My Son Temple Complex.
The subjects of planning research are the system of temples, ruins and architectural-archeological vestiges, mountain and forest landscapes, streams... creating the typical value of the special national relic My Son Temple Complex; intangible cultural values related to the relic (festivals, customs, folk legends...).
The planning objective is to preserve, renovate, restore and promote the values of My Son Temple Complex; protect forest resources, biodiversity and cultural heritage of the community in the area; connect with other historical - cultural relics and scenic spots in the locality...
The Prime Minister assigned local authorities to take the lead in organizing the planning; coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant ministries and branches to organize the preparation and submission for approval of planning projects in accordance with regulations...
