Facing an opponent that was superior in many aspects from physique to expertise, U.21 Vietnam, despite their efforts, with Dang Thi Hong proving her talent, could not create any surprises. Dang Thi Hong alone was not enough for U.21 Vietnam to make a difference against the players from Russia. Therefore, coach Nguyen Trong Linh and his team accepted a 0-3 defeat against Korabelka Club.
Thus, the Vietnam U.21 team ended the group stage of the VTV Cup 2025 international women's volleyball tournament with a record of losing all 3 matches against Taiwan (0-3), Thailand U.21 (1-3) and Korabelka Club (0-3). This result puts Vietnam U.21 at the bottom of Group B. Taiwan (6 points) temporarily ranks first in Group B while Korabelka Club (5 points) ranks second. The match between these two teams at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow will determine the first and second place in the group. Meanwhile, Thailand U.21 has 4 points, ranking third.
