On October 7, after receiving a report from the people, the Working Group of Mobile Forest Ranger and Fire Prevention Team No. 3 conducted an inspection at the home of Ms. Truong Thi T, born in 1970, address Hamlet 3, Nghia Thuan Commune, Thai Hoa Town, and discovered 7 mink weighing 32.7 kg transported by Ms. T on a motorbike with license plate 37H1 - 640.80.
According to her confession, Ms. Truong Thi T bought 7 mink, of which 6 died and 1 was injured due to a trap set by a resident in Que Phong district. All of the wild animals had no legal documents.
Currently, Mobile Forest Ranger and Fire Prevention Team No. 3 has made a record of inspection, temporarily seized the exhibits and means of violation to determine the species and value of the exhibits, investigate and verify for handling according to the provisions of law.
