On the day and night of December 15, the North, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will have severe cold, the mountainous areas of the North will have severe cold. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is generally 10-13 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas 7-10 degrees Celsius, in high mountainous areas some places below 5 degrees Celsius. Dien Bien, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh will have cold weather, some places will have severe cold, the lowest temperature is 12-15 degrees, in which, in Dien Bien some places are below 11 degrees Celsius.

The influence of cold air combined with disturbances in the upper easterly wind zone caused moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms from Quang Tri to Ninh Thuan from early morning to night on December 15, with some places experiencing very heavy rain.

From December 16, the North and Thanh Hoa, Nghe An will have increased temperatures, cold weather, mountainous areas will have severe cold.

On December 16, Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa on December 16, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. The Central Highlands and the South have showers and thunderstorms in some places.

From the night of December 16 to December 24, the Central Central region will have rain, showers, locally heavy rain and thunderstorms. The North will be cold.

In Hanoi, today, the weather in the capital is cloudy, rainy in some places, cold with the lowest temperature of 12-14 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is 15-17 degrees Celsius.

Tomorrow, December 16, the daytime temperature in Hanoi will increase to 20 degrees Celsius, the weather will be warmer, but at night it will still be cold, down to 13 degrees Celsius.

From December 17-24, the highest temperature in Hanoi will remain at 22-23 degrees Celsius, however the lowest temperature will decrease, fluctuating between 10-12 degrees Celsius, with generally few clouds and no rain.

According to the 10-day temperature and weather update table of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, some localities such as Lai Chau, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Vinh Phuc, the lowest temperature will sometimes drop below 10 degrees Celsius. In particular, Vinh Phuc from December 16-24, the lowest temperature will commonly be 4-6 degrees Celsius.
