(NLDO) – Localities in the West have planned to set off fireworks on the occasion of National Day, September 2, to serve the needs of the people.

Can Tho City: At around 9:30 p.m. on September 2, the city will launch high-altitude fireworks at Tay Do Park; low-altitude fireworks at Xa No Park and Urban Area 5A.

The program's funding is used from the state budget according to regulations and social mobilization.

Tay Ninh : At 9:00 p.m. on September 2, fireworks will be set off in the central areas of Long An and Tan Ninh wards for the convenience of people. There are expected to be 120 low-altitude fireworks displays with a duration of 15 minutes each. The cost is 580 million VND/site, from socialized sources.

Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to develop a specific script, ensuring artistry and appropriate duration.

Long An Ward was chosen by Tay Ninh Province to shoot fireworks on the occasion of September 2nd.

The Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the organization of fireworks must be absolutely safe, economical, and in compliance with current regulations. Relevant units are responsible for monitoring and strictly controlling funding sources, ensuring publicity and transparency. Security, order, fire prevention and fighting, and traffic flow are required to be carefully prepared.

In addition, propaganda work will be widely deployed so that people can grasp information, proactively arrange to participate, contributing to spreading the festival atmosphere and promoting local cultural and social movements.
