This is a match taking place in Group C, which has received a lot of attention from the Vietnam U21 women's volleyball team. Because the teams in Group A and Group C will face each other in the round of 16.

Since Vietnam has secured second place in Group A, the opponent of coach Nguyen Trong Linh and his team is determined to be the third-place team in Group C.

Just yesterday, this position belonged to the Czech Republic - the team that caused a surprise when they beat Türkiye with a score of 3-2, thereby rising to 3rd place, below Italy and Poland.

This is also the group considered the "group of death" of the U21 Women's Volleyball World Championship, when it brings together 4 strong European teams: Italy, Poland, Turkey and Czech.

Among them, Italy is considered the strongest women's volleyball team in the world at present, while Poland and Türkiye are on par with each other. The Czech Republic is the weakest but still ranks 13th in the national women's volleyball rankings, and 25th at the U21 level.

It can be said that the confrontation with Czech Republic created a significant opportunity for Vietnam to continue. But then the surprise continued to appear in the final match, when Italy lost 2-3 to Türkiye.

With this result, Türkiye temporarily rose to 3rd place with 9 points, below Italy (12 points), Poland (10 points) and above Czech (8 points).

This is still only a temporary ranking because Czech and Poland will face each other tonight, in a match that will decide the final ranking of the group.

If Czech Republic wins Poland, they can even take second place in the group, pushing Poland down to third place and Türkiye down to fourth place. At that time, the opponent of Vietnam's U21 women's volleyball team will be Poland.

In case Poland wins, Türkiye is likely to finish third, becoming Vietnam's opponent in the round of 16.

In any case, this is not a very good signal for the U21 Vietnamese women's volleyball team, because Poland and Türkiye are both "big trees" in the world of women's volleyball, from youth level to the national team.

In the national team rankings, Poland is currently ranked 3rd in the world, Türkiye is ranked 6th. In the U21 rankings, Poland is ranked 12th, Türkiye is ranked 5th.
