Miss Ao Dai Heritage Vietnam 2024 contest in Son Tay

(CLO) The Miss Ao Dai Heritage Vietnam 2024 contest will be held in Son Tay town, Hanoi from October 22 to December 24, to find beauties with enough beauty, heart, and talent to promote the image of Vietnamese Ao Dai.

This information was given at a press conference announcing the Miss Ao Dai Vietnam Heritage contest organized by the People's Committee of Son Tay town (Hanoi) on the afternoon of October 22.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Miss Ao Dai Heritage Vietnam 2024 contest aims to honor and spread the image of the beauty of women in Ao Dai through each period and elevate Ao Dai to a "cultural item" in diplomacy , cultural development and tourism of Vietnam.

The contest also aims to find beauties with beauty, heart and talent to promote the image of the Vietnamese ao dai.

The contestants will become cultural ambassadors, bringing the message about the beauty and value of Ao Dai associated with cultural heritage to the public, thereby preserving and promoting the traditional beauty of Ao Dai in the hearts of every Vietnamese person.

Throughout the competition, the image of the Ao Dai will be strongly promoted through media activities and events. Contestants will have the opportunity to introduce the Ao Dai, its history and meaning to a wide audience.

Organizing the Miss Ao Dai Vietnam Heritage 2024 contest will contribute to highlighting the unique cultural values of Son Tay, especially historical - cultural relics and natural landscapes, thereby attracting the attention of domestic and foreign tourists.

The preliminary round of the contest took place on October 22. The semi-final round is expected to take place on November 23, at the main stage of Son Tay Ancient Citadel walking street, with the participation of 100 contestants, performing in Ao Dai costumes and taking pictures in Ao Dai costumes.

The final night of the contest is scheduled for December 24, at the main stage of Son Tay Ancient Citadel walking street, with the participation of 30 contestants. The final night's competitions include: self-introduction, evening gown performance, ao dai performance, and behavioral competition.

The contestant winning the title of Miss will receive a cash prize worth 100 million VND, a Crown worth 5 billion VND, a Sash and other valuable prizes.
