According to this decision, the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Nai province was established on the basis of merging the Management Board of Dong Nai Industrial Parks, the Management Board of Dong Nai High-Tech Biotechnology Park and the Management Board of Binh Phuoc Economic Zone.

The Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Nai Province is an agency under the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province, performing the function of direct state management of industrial parks, economic zones, and high-tech zones in Dong Nai Province. Managing and organizing the provision of public administrative services and other support services related to investment, production, business, research, and technology transfer activities for investors and enterprises in industrial parks, economic zones, and high-tech zones in the province according to the provisions of law.

The Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Nai Province has legal status, an account, and a seal with the national emblem. The state administrative management budget, career operations budget, and development investment capital are allocated from the state budget according to the annual plan and other funding sources according to regulations of authorized state agencies. The Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Nai Province performs its duties and powers according to current laws. The Head of the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Nai Province shall submit to the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province specific regulations on functions, duties, powers, and organizational structure according to regulations of law.

The Decision takes effect from the date of signing and promulgation. At the same time, in this Decision, the Prime Minister also abolished Decision No. 204/TTg (dated April 6, 1995) of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Dong Nai Industrial Park Management Board; Decision No. 2070/QD-TTg (dated December 11, 2009) of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Binh Phuoc Economic Zone Management Board and Decision No. 4000/QD-UBND (dated November 28, 2016) of the Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee on the establishment of the High-Tech Biotechnology Park Management Board under the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee.
