Thanh Hoa pays tribute to those who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province and members of the working delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of martyr Nguyen Xuan Dong in Yen Trach residential group, Quang Chau ward; Dien Bien soldiers: Hoang Van Dung in Bac Son ward, Pham Van Lung in Quang Cu ward; youth volunteer Nguyen Duc Lien in Quang Minh commune and frontline laborer Le Thi Ho in Trung Son ward.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province Do Minh Tuan kindly asked about the health and life of the martyrs' families and those who directly fought and served in the Dien Bien Phu campaign; expressed his respect and appreciation for the great contributions and sacrifices of the martyrs, soldiers of Dien Bien, and those who served in the Dien Bien Phu campaign, contributing together with our army and people to the Dien Bien Phu victory that "resounded throughout the five continents and shook the world".

The leaders of Thanh Hoa province also informed about the series of activities to pay tribute and celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory; sent wishes of good health to Dien Bien soldiers, relatives of martyrs, former youth volunteers, frontline workers and hoped that those who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign and their families would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, preserve the spirit of Dien Bien soldiers,educate their children and grandchildren to continue the tradition of their ancestors, contribute their intelligence and efforts, and build their homeland and country to become more civilized and prosperous.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province also requested the Party Committee and the government of Sam Son city to continue to do well in social security work, show gratitude, care for and implement policies for families with revolutionary contributions, creating motivation for each family to constantly strive to build a prosperous and happy life.
