The City People's Committee has just issued a decision to establish the Steering Committee for the 25th VIMC International Mathematics Competition, scheduled to take place from August 14 to 19, 2025 in Da Nang.

The City People's Committee has just issued a decision to establish the Steering Committee for the 25th VIMC International Mathematics Competition, scheduled to take place from August 14 to 19, 2025 in Da Nang.

Accordingly, the Steering Committee is headed by Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee; Ms. Le Thi Bich Thuan, Director of the Departmentof Education and Training, as permanent deputy head of the committee, with 12 deputy heads, 13 members and 4 secretaries.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Education and Training to establish the Organizing Committee of the 25th VIMC International Mathematics Competition; at the same time, act as the focal point to advise and assist the City Steering Committee in directing and inspecting the implementation in accordance with the exam organization plan issued by the City People's Committee.

The Department of Education and Training presides over and coordinates with departments, branches, sectors, Vietnam - Korea University of Information Technology and Communications and IEG Global Joint Stock Company to ensure all necessary conditions for organizing the exam in accordance with regulations and requirements.

Previously, on June 20, the City People's Committee issued Plan No. 165 on organizing the 25th VIMC International Mathematics Competition in Da Nang .

The competition's Vietnamese name is "The 25th Da Nang, Viet Nam International Mathematics Competition (VIMC 2025 - Da Nang, Viet Nam).

With the slogan “Connecting intelligence, spreading friendship, conquering Mathematics”, the contest is expected to attract about 1,000 people from 31 international delegations and 2 domestic delegations.

Contestants are divided into 2 levels: students in grades 6-7 and born after August 14, 2012; students in grades 8-9 and born after August 14, 2011.
