Thai Nguyen successfully organized the 2025 Asian MuayThai Championship

After 5 days of competition, on the evening of June 25, at Thai Nguyen Stadium, the Closing Ceremony of the 2025 Asian MuayThai Championship took place.

The 2025 Asian MuayThai Championship in Thai Nguyen was a great success.

Attending were representatives of the World MuayThai Federation, the Asian MuayThai Federation and leaders of units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The MuayThai tournament took place from June 20 to 25, with more than 300 coaches, athletes and referees from 19 countries and territories. Athletes competed for 50 sets of medals in 28 combat weight categories and 8 technical performance events.

The Vietnamese sports delegation has 50 athletes participating, of which the host Thai Nguyen has 6 martial artists.

The Vietnamese athletes competed excellently, winning a total of 46 medals of all kinds (including: 14 gold, 16 silver and 16 bronze medals), ranking first overall.

The following rankings are: United Arab Emirates (UAE) ranked second overall with 16 medals of all kinds (8 gold, 4 silver, 4 bronze); Kazakhstan ranked third overall; Thailand ranked fourth with 10 medals of all kinds (6 gold and 4 silver).
