Leaving U.23 to score in U.21
One of the young faces promoted to play in the V-League early is Dinh Quang Kiet, born in 2007, just turned 18 this year, considered a "treasure" of Mr. Duc. With a beautiful body, height of up to 1.96 m, playing with a dignified mindset, this central defender has shown his potential early, showing that he will be an effective stopper in the near future not only of HAGL but also of Vietnamese football.

Although he did not win a ticket to Indonesia to participate in the U.23 Southeast Asian tournament due to his limited experience compared to his 21-23 year old seniors, the door was not closed for Quang Kiet. Looking at Kiet's playing style, not only is he good at pressing, good at recovering the ball, and making smart saves, he also launches quick attacks and directly scores goals effectively.
Quang Kiet proved this eloquently when he returned to wear the HAGL shirt from U.23 Vietnam. He immediately scored against Hue team in the 2-0 victory on the afternoon of July 12 of the mountain town team. It was a beautiful goal from a volley right in the 16.50m box after a tactical header by striker Hoang Minh Tien. A goal that showed the ability to choose a good position and seize the opportunity quickly. This valuable victory with the contribution of Quang Kiet helped coach Trinh Duy Quang and his team have 4 points, entering the final round early.
HAGL is happy with Quang Kiet's goal and is sure to be in the final round.

Not only Quang Kiet but also 2 other names who have just left the national U.23 team have quickly affirmed their class in the domestic arena when scoring goals. In the previous round, Nguyen Dang Duong, a 1.84 m tall striker of Viettel The Cong, scored a double against Hoai Duc. And on the afternoon of July 12, another striker returning from U.23, Nguyen Le Phat of PVF, only 18 years old like Dinh Quang Kiet, scored 1 goal in the magnificent 7-0 victory over Dao Ha Center.

In the afternoon match on July 12, there was a record in the qualifying round of the U.21 tournament this year, when striker Trinh Long Vu of PVF scored 5 goals against Dao Ha team. Another "fierce" record was 12 yellow cards in the match where U.21 Cong An Ha Noi won 2-0 against Thanh Hoa. In which, the winning team received 9 yellow cards. In addition to PVF's big win, the difference in results has decreased significantly when only Dong Thap defeated Vinh Long 4-0. Most of the other matches ended with only a difference of 2-0, such as U.21 Ho Chi Minh City against Binh Dinh, Da Nang against Quang Nam or 4-2 of PVF-CAND against Hoai Duc.
