Releasing more than 423,500 fish and shrimp fry to regenerate aquatic resources in Nha Trang Bay

In response to the Sea Culture - Tourism Festival and Vietnam Sea and Islands Week 2025 (from June 1 to 8), on the morning of June 8, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee organized the Launching Ceremony of resource regeneration, coral reef restoration and conservation in Nha Trang Bay. Attending were Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches, localities; socio-political organizations, Khanh Hoa Provincial Fisheries Association and enterprises, organizations and individuals involved in exploiting and using marine resources and environment in the province.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Thieu emphasized that Khanh Hoa is a province with a long coastline, many beautiful bays, a rich coral reef ecosystem and is a place with great potential for developing marine economy, marine tourism associated with ecological conservation. In particular, in the coming time, when merging with Ninh Thuan province, Khanh Hoa will become the locality with the longest coastline in the country with more than 490km. Therefore, protecting the marine environment, restoring coral reefs, and regenerating aquatic resources is not only a responsibility but also a fundamental solution for sustainable development. This launching ceremony is a meaningful event, strongly spreading the spirit of responsibility and love for the ocean.
