More than 400,000 fish and shrimp fry were released into Nha Trang Bay to regenerate aquatic resources and protect the marine environment.

On the morning of June 8, in response to the Nha Trang Sea Culture and Tourism Festival 2025, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province organized the launching ceremony to regenerate resources and restore coral reefs to preserve Nha Trang Bay.

The delegation went to the Bay lagoon area in Nha Trang Bay and released more than 423,500 fish and shrimp fry to regenerate aquatic resources, accelerate the recovery of coral reefs, balance the ecology in Nha Trang Bay, and bring long-term benefits to the lives of coastal communities.

Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - said Khanh Hoa has a long coastline, many beautiful bays, a rich coral reef ecosystem and is a place with great potential for developing marine economy , marine tourism associated with ecological conservation.

"Protecting the marine environment, restoring coral reefs, and regenerating aquatic resources is not only a responsibility but also a fundamental solution for sustainable development," said Mr. Thieu.
