The fire broke out fiercely and burned down the fishermen's fishing boat.

Specifically, on the night of December 2, fishing boat QNg-440.72TS owned by Mr. Nguyen Van Biet, 55 years old, residing in Thanh Duc 1 residential group, Pho Thanh ward, Duc Pho town, anchored at Sa Huynh fishing port suddenly caught fire.

As soon as the fire broke out, Mr. Nguyen Trung Cu, an employee of Sa Huynh fishing port, discovered it and immediately called on people to cut the ship's anchor rope and put out the fire. At the same time, he reported the incident to the authorities.

In parallel with the fire fighting, local people and authorities towed and separated nearby anchored ships and moved assets away from the burning fishing boat to prevent the fire from spreading.

Because the fishing boat was anchored far from shore, it was difficult to put out the fire. After more than an hour of firefighting efforts, the fire was brought under control. However, the fire caused great damage to the boat owner, estimated at 100 million VND.

It is known that Mr. Biet's fishing boat QNg-44072-TS was fishing with a dragnet. The boat anchored at Sa Huynh Fishing Port in the late afternoon of December 2 and caught fire at night.

The incident is being investigated by the authorities.
