On July 4, Mr. Vo Hoan Hai, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province (including Khanh Hoa province and the old Ninh Thuan province), said that the unit is urgently implementing the reception and arrangement of study places for students whose parents work in the new areas after the province's merger. This is an urgent task to create favorable conditions for families before the new school year 2025-2026.
According to Mr. Vo Hoan Hai, in June, the Department received a list of 325 students from kindergarten to high school in the old Ninh Thuan province who followed their parents to work in new areas. This number is expected to be updated depending on the actual situation.

To create the best possible conditions for students, the Department of Education and Training has requested schools to prioritize admission and create maximum conditions for students who need to study. In particular, the arrangement of schools is carried out in accordance with the agencies and work units of parents to ensure convenience in picking up and taking care of children.
According to the leader of Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, during the process of receiving applications, there may be a situation where many applications are concentrated in a few schools. In case the school is overloaded, it is necessary to report to the Department and the People's Committee at the commune level to have a reasonable solution to coordinate students.
Regarding this year's enrollment, the provincial Department of Education and Training determined that it is necessary to implement it flexibly, ensuring transparency and publicity in enrollment. At the same time, it will continue to implement preferential policies and regimes by region for students who are receiving priority.

Mr. Hai said that in the context of applying the 2-level local government model, public kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools are transferred to the commune-level People's Committees for management, while public high schools are managed by the Department of Education and Training. Regarding school transfer procedures, they still follow the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Specifically, at the preschool level, parents only need to prepare a profile with an application for admission and send it to the school they want to transfer to. At the primary, secondary and high school levels, parents need to prepare a transfer application and send it to the school they want to transfer to. Particularly, students preparing to enter grade 10 of public schools must have an additional certificate of admission from the old high school before transferring.
Currently, all school transfer applications are received and processed at the one-stop department of the Provincial Public Administration Service Center. The Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Education and Training has determined the motto "resolving any problems", with the goal of ensuring enough places for all students before the new school year 2025-2026 begins.
