On January 31 (the 3rd day of Tet), information from Tan Son Nhat Airport Operations Center said that during the day, Tan Son Nhat Airport served 889 flights.

Total expected passenger volume served is 136,730 passengers. Of which, 60,339 are departing passengers (34,008 domestic departing passengers, 26,331 international departing passengers); 76,391 are arriving passengers (51,441 domestic arriving passengers, 24,950 international arriving passengers).

Although the number of passengers passing through the airport was very high, there was no congestion or overcrowding. The airport staff was reinforced to work effectively during the peak of the Lunar New Year.
