On June 12, the Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank (SPB) of Tan Bien district held a meeting to evaluate the performance of the first 5 months of 2025.

In the first 5 months of the year, the district's Social Policy Bank has disbursed over 86 billion VND in policy credit capital, supporting over 1,900 poor, near-poor, newly escaped-poverty households and other policy beneficiaries. Through 307 savings and loan groups in hamlets and neighborhoods, the timely capital source has helped people develop production, create jobs for over 630 workers; supported 38 students with difficult circumstances to borrow money for studying; built 1,264 clean water and rural environmental sanitation works; over 8.5 billion VND has been used to build houses for poor households and social housing.

As of May 31, 2025, the total social policy credit capital of the district reached over 503 billion VND, an increase of more than 20 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year. Loan turnover reached over 86 billion VND, debt collection was over 65 billion VND. Total outstanding debt reached over 502 billion VND, equal to 99.6% of the yearly plan, with over 14,700 households still in debt.

Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Head of the Board of Directors of the District Social Policy Bank Doan Thi Minh Thanh requested members of the District Board of Directors to closely coordinate with entrusted socio -political organizations and related departments and offices, review and accurately identify beneficiaries so that 100% of eligible households can access loans.

At the same time, promote the dissemination of social credit policies, enhance production guidance, integrate vocational training, apply science and technology, and maintain inspection and supervision work to promptly remove difficulties.
