Bung Thi hot spring - tourism potential waiting to be exploited

According to the planning orientation, Bung Thi hot spring is located in the Ta Kou - Bung Thi - Song Phan urban, commercial - service, entertainment - recreation, eco -tourism and spiritual complex project (located in the communes of Tan Thanh, Ham Thuan Nam, Tan Hai). This complex is expected to be divided into 8 component projects, of which 2 component projects are assessed to be eligible for investor selection, to be completed in 2025.

In particular, the 106-hectare area of the Bung Thi Eco-tourism, Recreation and Entertainment Project has a natural hot mineral well, and the locality is currently promoting procedures to adjust the content related to the forestry and mineral sectors according to regulations... Through research, it is known that Bung Thi hot spring was found a long time ago, however, this area is still quite wild because it has not been invested in and exploited effectively and commensurate with its potential. Because this is a natural stream from the ground, in addition to the hot water stream, there is also a cold water stream that will mix together and flow into a lake, creating a warm water stream.

Here, people can boil chicken eggs and enjoy them under the forest canopy.

At the source of the hot water with a temperature of over 80°C, local people and tourists often bring boiled eggs, wait with curiosity and excitement and enjoy them under the cool canopy of the primeval forest. At the warm lake, people can also soak in the peaceful space to relieve daily stress and fatigue...

Possessing its own potential, Bung Thi hot spring opens up opportunities to attract investment towards developing high-end tourism and resorts associated with medical treatment, health care and mineral mud bath services, sports experiences, entertainment, sightseeing of coastal tropical forests in Lam Dong province... It is known that recently, the locality has established a working group to implement tasks related to investment in the Ta Kou - Bung Thi - Song Phan Urban, Trade - Service, Entertainment, Eco-Tourism and Spiritual Complex project. From there, proactively review, monitor, and urge departments, branches, and localities to guide and remove difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing investment procedures for project construction.

At the end of July, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Ho Van Muoi conducted a field survey of Lam Dong coastal projects, including the Bung Thi Eco-tourism, Resort and Entertainment Component Project. Here, the provincial leaders highly appreciated the tourism potential of this area, and at the same time believed that there was a lot of room for development as well as attracting large-scale, high-class projects. Thereby, they requested relevant parties to continue to focus resources and find solutions to effectively exploit the potential and strengths of tourism in the coastal areas of the province in the coming time...

The Ta Kou - Bung Thi - Song Phan Urban, Commercial - Service, Entertainment - Ecotourism and Spiritual Complex also includes component projects: Thuan Nam Town Urban Area combined with Ta Kou Golf Course; Ta Kou - Bung Thi Ecotourism, Resort, Entertainment; 4 rural residential area projects. Up to now, investors are also studying the order and legal procedures for implementation of these component projects...
