The Department of Industry and Trade organized a training course on environmental protection in petroleum business and safety in gas business (LPG).
On the morning of June 14-15, 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the College of Commerce to organize training courses on petroleum and natural gas (LPG) business in 2025 for all petroleum and natural gas (LPG) traders in the province.

Pursuant to Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP dated September 3, 2014 of the Government on petroleum trading; Decree No. 95/2021/ND-CP dated November 1, 2021 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP dated September 3, 2014 on petroleum trading; Decree No. 80/2023/ND-CP dated November 17, 2023 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 95/2021/ND-CP dated November 1, 2021 and Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP dated September 3, 2014 of the Government on petroleum trading; Pursuant to Decree No. 87/2018/ND-CP dated August 15, 2018 of the Government on gas trading; Pursuant to Circular No. 15/2020/TT-BCT dated June 30, 2020 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade promulgating the National Technical Regulation on design requirements for petrol stations No. QCVN 01:2020/BCT. According to the above regulations, petrol and gas traders (LPG) must strictly comply with current regulations on trading conditional goods. In particular, the mandatory condition for managers is that business owners and sales staff must be trained, coached and have a certificate of training, professional training on fire prevention, fire fighting and environmental protection, safety techniques in gas trading according to regulations, therefore, the Department of Industry and Trade has coordinated with the College of Commerce to organize a training course on petrol and gas trading.
Lecturers of College of Commerce share knowledge at training course
The training course attracted nearly 80 trainees who are owners and employees of petroleum and gas businesses and establishments in the province. At the training course, the lecturers imparted new knowledge and information related to petroleum and gas business activities. The trainees were able to grasp information such as: sources of oil-contaminated wastewater, how spilled/leaked petroleum affects the environment, whether it is possible to use gasoline mixed with diesel and vice versa... and the latest regulations for this activity. At the end of the training course, trainees will be tested on their knowledge, granted certificates, and have completed the training objectives of employees with good political qualities, professional ethics, and good health; Have basic knowledge of petroleum and gas business; Perform operations in petroleum and gas business to meet the human resource needs of petroleum and gas stores, petroleum depots, and gas depots; Have a positive attitude and high responsibility at work, cooperate with colleagues, respect the interests of customers and businesses, be responsible to the community, comply with the law and regulations at the workplace.
