In particular, AirX Carbon's NetZero Pallet product, made from polymerized coconut fiber bio-waste material, stands out with its high quality, biodegradability and more competitive price compared to plastic and wooden pallets on the market, and has excellently won the First Prize of the Vietnam category at the Startup Wheel finals.
Filum.ai's GenAI platform, which helps improve customer experience, won second prize; theeducational toy production project Kalotoys won third prize. The prize values are: VND 1 billion 150 million (including cash and in-kind), VND 200 million and VND 150 million, respectively.
In addition to the main awards, this year's Startup Wheel also awarded the Vietnam Youth Startup Champion to the Rebo Education solution, integrating 3D technology, augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI). This technology solution helps teachers and students enhance their teaching and learning experience through vivid and interactive lectures, with a prize value of 30 million VND. And other awards include: Most creative project: ActiUp.net ; Best female founder : Ms. Vu Thi Trang of HubTech project ; Most impressive contestant : Ms. Thai Kha Ly of Porua Organic Cosmetics project...
As an annual activity organized by the Youth Startup Support Center (BSSC) and the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association (YBA), under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Student Association, Startup Wheel has been an in-depth startup competition with international influence for the past 12 years.
BSSC CEO and Head of the Organizing Committee (OC) of Startup Wheel 2024, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Hang said: “This is the 12th year that BSSC has organized Startup Wheel and the 7th year that Startup Wheel has welcomed startups in the International category. Startup Wheel is one of the largest programs open to both Vietnamese and international startups. In the International category, Startup Wheel has worked with more than 1,000 startups from 50 countries across 5 continents over the past 7 years.
