A playground for nurturing football talents in Ho Chi Minh City

The Ho Chi Minh City Children's Football Tournament - Yamaha Cup 2025 will kick off from March 29 to March 30, marking an important event in the system of football tournaments for children in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Ho Chi Minh City Children's Football Tournament - Yamaha Cup 2025 is organized by the Vietnam Japan Football Star Sports Training Center (VJSS), with professional support from the Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation (HFF). The tournament is organized to promote the children's football movement in Ho Chi Minh City, while creating opportunities for football teams to demonstrate their talents and improve their skills. In addition, this is also a meaningful playground, contributing to improving the school sports movement and nurturing young football talents for the future.

With the participation of 32 teams (480 students), the Ho Chi Minh City Children's Football Tournament - Yamaha Cup 2025 not only brings exciting matches but also an opportunity to exchange and connect football teams in the city. Accordingly, 32 teams are divided equally into 8 groups. The teams play a round-robin to calculate points and rank, thereby finding the top 2 teams to continue to the knockout round of Serie A.

Expert Doan Minh Xuong, Head of HFF School Football Department, affirmed: "Ho Chi Minh City is the most developed place in the country in terms of school football movement. Through playing their favorite sport, children will be "educated " in terms of health, spirit, personality and become useful people for society. In terms of expertise, the tournament will certainly be highly effective. The tournament will include typical schools with a tradition of school football.

Prize structure:

- Champion: 10 million VND

- Runner-up: 7 million VND

- Third place: 3 million VND
