Hue city is proud to be the place where comrade Hoang Anh was born, grew up and participated in revolutionary activities; the place that left many deep impressions about his family, youth, revolutionary enlightenment process, and the affection that he had for his homeland.
Thuan Hoa Publishing House, in collaboration with Comrade Hoang Anh's family, compiled and published the book "Comrade Hoang Anh served the Fatherland and the people his whole life" as a tribute, to introduce to readers, especially the younger generation, a better understanding of the great and comprehensive contributions of the revolutionary veteran to the glorious cause of our Party and nation.
In particular, his moral qualities and dedication to overcoming circumstances to constantly explore, learn and mature through historical periods marked milestones in the struggle for national liberation and the building of socialism.
The 410-page work, compiled by many authors, was produced by Thuan Hoa Publishing House in collaboration with the family of comrade Hoang Anh. The book gathers many valuable documents, fully reflecting the life and career of comrade Hoang Anh, former: Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Minister of Agriculture , Deputy Minister of National Defense.
The book is an opportunity to record the glorious revolutionary journey and pay tribute to the great contributions of comrade Hoang Anh to the Party and the nation. The book also introduces many valuable images and documents about the times comrade Hoang Anh met President Ho Chi Minh , worked with high-ranking leaders of the Party and State, and at the same time depicts the steadfast and devoted qualities of a communist who devoted his whole life.
Born in Phong Dien (Thua Thien Hue, now Hue city), comrade Hoang Anh joined the Viet Minh early, held the role of Vice Chairman of the Uprising Committee to seize power in the August Revolution of 1945, then Chairman of the Administrative Committee of Thua Thien province, and a delegate of the 1st National Assembly. His revolutionary career was closely linked to the glorious career of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution; it was an honor and pride for the Party Committee, government and people of Hue city.
During more than 80 years of working, comrade Hoang Anh took on many important responsibilities of the Party and the State, making many great contributions to finance, agriculture and national defense. With his outstanding achievements, he was awarded the Gold Star Order by the Party and the State, the most noble award for individuals with outstanding achievements and contributions to the people and the country.
At the launch, the representative of Comrade Hoang Anh's family expressed their gratitude to the authors and Thuan Hoa Publishing House. Former leaders of the province (now the city) also expressed their respect to the publishing house for printing many books about outstanding children of Hue such as President Le Duc Anh, General Nguyen Chi Thanh, poet To Huu..., helping the younger generation understand more about the traditions of their homeland.
Most of the books were donated by Thuan Hoa Publishing House and the family of comrade Hoang Anh to libraries of universities, high schools in the city and museums, memorial houses, such as: General Nguyen Chi Thanh, poet To Huu, President Le Duc Anh...
On this occasion, Dr. Nguyen Duy To, Director of Thuan Hoa Publishing House, presented books to the Hue City Military Command, Hue National High School for the Gifted and several localities in Phong Dien district (old), the hometown of comrade Hoang Anh.
