Quang Ninh attracts 76,000 visitors on the first day of September 2nd holiday

On the occasion of the September 2nd holiday, tourism businesses in Quang Ninh province have strongly implemented many tourism stimulus programs.

Specifically, on the evening of August 30, at Ha Long Marina Urban Area, Bai Chay Ward, BIM Group launched Halo Bay Show - a water music performance combined with a synchronized sound - light - LED system. The program is performed free of charge every night for tourists, contributing to enriching the tourism - cultural experience of visitors and adding "attraction" to Ha Long's night economy .

The project was designed by KuMe Design Asia Architecture Company, achieving 3 Vietnamese records: The highest water column in Vietnam, 90m high, equivalent to a 26-27 story building; the most "cannon" compressed air spray system, creating a 40-50m high water column; and the most load-bearing stainless steel float system, including 170 floats with a total load capacity of 50 tons.

On the occasion of the September 2nd holiday, overnight cruises on Ha Long Bay have reduced prices by 10 - 30%. Some restaurant ships do not charge holiday surcharges, give away extra dishes, offer private space for large groups, give away packages for using sound and lighting equipment for organizing events... Some localities organize autumn-winter tourism stimulus packages to attract tourists such as: Co To has launched a stimulus package with prices ranging from 1.7 - 1.9 million VND/person for a 3-day, 2-night tour, applicable to groups of 20 or more, from now until the end of 2025. The stimulus package includes: Round-trip speedboat tickets, 5 main meals, 2-3 star standard hotel accommodation or high-class homestay, sightseeing electric car.

In addition, Co To special zone also organizes a series of attractive events, sports , and entertainment after September 2 such as: "Autumn Moon on the Border" program; launching a communication campaign called "Autumn Whisper - Co To is waiting for you to tell stories" to promote the image of nature, culture, and people of Co To on social networks to attract visitors in the fall.

Yen Tu Ward organizes the “Ultra Trail Yen Tu 2025” Race on September 5-6. This is also the first trail race organized on a large scale, promising to gather thousands of domestic and foreign athletes, bringing a special sports - spiritual experience in the sacred Yen Tu mountains and forests.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province, on the first day of the September 2 holiday (August 30), the number of tourists to Quang Ninh province is estimated at 76,000, equal to 61% compared to the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors reached 18,000; domestic visitors about 58,000; overnight guests are estimated at 34,000, equal to 68% compared to the same period in 2024. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 209 billion VND, equal to 79% compared to the same period in 2024.

In order to serve tourists attentively during the September 2 holiday as well as enhance the image of Quang Ninh tourism brand, the province requires service businesses to strictly comply with public price posting and selling at the listed price, strictly prohibit fraudulent and profiteering acts; promote propaganda on civilized behavior at tourist areas and attractions, establish hotlines, promptly provide information and resolve complaints from tourists.
