At An Bien Medical Center, this model has initially brought clear results, creating a professional and safe working environment for medical staff and satisfaction for patients. Doctor Huynh Duc Hoa - Director of An Bien Medical Center said that the 5S model has been deployed by the unit since the beginning of 2025 with 5 steps: Screening, arranging, cleaning, caring, and being ready. The steps are carried out in clear stages such as: Screening to remove unnecessary items; arranging scientifically , with a diagram to demonstrate; maintaining daily hygiene to ensure a clean and fresh environment; caring by adding trees, landscapes and standardizing implementation regulations; finally, the spirit of being ready to serve thoughtfully and professionally is maintained through a mechanism of rewards and regular reminders.

Since the beginning of 2025, 100% of departments, offices and medical stations under An Bien Medical Center have agreed to implement the 5S model. To maintain effectiveness, the Center organizes competitions, propaganda, and launches emulation movements throughout the unit; establishes a Zalo group to deploy and remind; and at the same time includes the 5S criteria in annual emulation and reward consideration. Thanks to that, the exchange of experiences, sharing of innovation initiatives, as well as timely removal of difficulties in the implementation process take place regularly and continuously. At the same time, the Center maintains periodic inspection and supervision work, combined with daily reports at meetings to promptly correct limitations.

The highlight of An Bien is that the departments, rooms, and medical stations have turned 5S into a regular routine, not just a short-term movement. Each officer and employee has formed the habit of spending at least 5 minutes a day to clean up their desks, arrange files and documents neatly, and take care of the trees in the unit's premises. "In the past, sometimes papers and files were left in disarray, many things that seemed small but took a lot of time to find, even causing pressure at work. Since implementing 5S, the working space is airy and tidy, employees feel relieved, and work goes more smoothly," shared Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Loan - Deputy Head of Organization - Administration Department, An Bien Medical Center.

In reality, this model has brought many practical effects such as: A neat and safe working space, reducing the risk of infection and occupational accidents; a smooth medical examination and treatment process, saving time searching for records, medicines, and equipment; improved labor productivity, significantly reducing professional errors. Patients clearly feel the professionalism and friendliness in the service, thereby increasing satisfaction. Regularly visiting and receiving medical examination and treatment at An Bien Medical Center, Ms. Le Thi Xuan (56 years old), residing in Hai Trong Hamlet, Tay Yen Commune, expressed: "The center is always clean, airy, the hallway is very bright, and the signs are clear. The friendly medical examination space makes patients feel more secure and respected."

The 5S model associated with green, clean, and beautiful medical facilities not only provides a safe and civilized medical examination and treatment environment but also contributes to changing the appearance of grassroots healthcare, building the image of doctors close to the people, for the people.
