On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Hoan Kiem ward will organize many unique cultural and artistic activities to serve the people of the capital and people from all over the country coming to Hanoi to attend the National Day.

Director of the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Hoan Kiem Ward, Tran Thi Thuy Lan, said that on this occasion, Hoan Kiem Ward has developed a plan to organize a series of rich cultural and artistic activities, closely following the direction of the City People's Committee and the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports.

At two large LED screens located at Ba Kieu Temple Flower Garden and 16 Le Thai To, from early morning to noon on September 2, special art programs will take place. Professional singers and actors, along with the Hoan Kiem Song and Dance Club, will perform many pieces praising the Party, Uncle Ho, praising the love for the homeland, the country and the Vietnamese people.

At 16 Le Thai To, in the early morning (6:00-6:30), artists will perform special revolutionary songs, such as: Uncle Ho's words shine forever, Visit Nha Rong wharf, My beloved flag color, The bird that brings good news, Truong Sa military song.

From 10:30-11:30, the audience will enjoy a large-scale program with 12 performances praising love for the Fatherland, expressing deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh .

Within the framework of the program, there will also be a performance of Ao Dai with music, promising to bring a unique art program to serve the people of the capital and people across the country.

At Ba Kieu Temple Flower Garden (opposite Ngoc Son Temple), the public will also be able to enjoy many emotional songs at two time slots: 6:00-6:30 and 10:30-11:30. The artists will bring songs such as: A circle of Vietnam, A call to the heart, Proud melody, Continuing the story of peace , Aspiration for power, Vietnam's eternal echo, Return to the homeland, Hello Vietnam...

In particular, at the Hang Trong Flower Garden, the Hoan Kiem Ward Cultural and Information Center will introduce a photo exhibition from the book “Vietnam’s Strength” by photographer Nguyen A. This is a collection of photos rich in documentary and artistic value, reflecting the indomitable spirit and strong aspiration of the Vietnamese people in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Hoan Kiem Ward Library also opened to serve the people during the holidays, introducing to a large number of readers the book series “Heart for the Country”, “Family, Friends and Country” by diplomat, former Vice President Nguyen Thi Binh. These are works imbued with patriotism, rich in historical and humanistic values, giving the public an insight into a great personality of the nation.
