“Guest Station: A80 Proud of Vietnam” is a service point for people participating in events celebrating the 80th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on September 2, under the direction of the Hanoi City People's Committee.

Accordingly, the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to coordinate with the city's functional agencies and local authorities to organize the operation of 15 stations in the central areas and parade streets.

Participating in the operation are also businesses that wish to share, accompany and contribute to the country's important event. In the area around Hoan Kiem Lake, there are "guest stations" such as the headquarters of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports (47 Hang Dau), the headquarters of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper (44 Le Thai To)...

The “guest stations” are friendly stops, helping people - especially the elderly, children, people with disabilities... have a space to rest, receive drinking water, fans, seats... to fully participate in outdoor parades and mass marches.

The stations will also act as prominent “connection points” so that people can easily locate and find useful information when they need help. In addition to serving the people, the “customer stations” are also cultural and communication highlights that contribute to spreading the beautiful image of the Capital through mass media products.

In particular, the name “guest station” is not only modern and familiar, but also evokes a memorable historical period, when “guest stations” were once familiar destinations, places to welcome cadres and soldiers; and also places to serve the people in special circumstances.
Thereby, the project "Guest Station: A80 Proud of Vietnam" both preserves traditional features and affirms the humanistic spirit and the City's concern for the people.
