People in Hanoi suburbs are happy and excited to receive National Day gifts on September 2

Local people are very excited, happy and touched when receiving gifts on the occasion of Independence Day. The gift giving from the Party and State to the people is spreading faith, patriotism and national unity, proving that the country is increasingly prosperous and happy.

* In Bat Trang commune, the total amount of money spent on gifts for people is more than 4,746 billion VND. Payments are made to each household, the head of the household is the recipient. When the head of the household goes to receive the gift, bring along a citizen identification card or a phone with VNeiD installed; in case another member of the household represents the household to receive the gift, they must prove their relationship with the head of the household, if they cannot prove it, they will receive the gift later.

For cases where, for various reasons, money cannot be received on this occasion, the Commune People's Committee will continue to review and make payments according to Government regulations.

According to reporters at the payment points in the villages, from early morning on September 1, many people were present to receive the gift money. The organization was arranged reasonably, with specific instructions and flows; the police force and commune officials coordinated closely to support people to complete procedures quickly and safely.

Ms. Dang Thi Hao (85 years old), in Le Xa village, shared: "This is the first time receiving gifts on the occasion of National Day, September 2, so my family members are very excited. Although the amount of money is not large, everyone is happy because the Party and State care for them, which shows that the country is increasingly prosperous and the people are happy."

Chairman of Bat Trang Commune People's Committee Hoang Tien Dung said that the commune has directed the villages to urgently deploy, ensuring that all people in the commune receive gifts before September 2.

* Phuc Tho Commune, from the afternoon of August 31, simultaneously at the Cultural Houses of the villages, the People's Committee of Phuc Tho Commune urgently paid the Government's gifts to households in the commune.

According to statistics, the whole Phuc Tho commune has a total of 19,733 households with 75,042 people. To ensure that each household receives gifts before September 2, the People's Committee of the commune directs units to coordinate with functional agencies to focus on payment from August 31 to September 1. For objective cases, the People's Committee of the commune will try to resolve them as soon as possible. With that spirit, all forces and political and social organizations of Phuc Tho commune are making efforts to guide and support people so that the payment process takes place quickly, conveniently and on schedule.

Mr. Tran Van Tri in Phung Thuong 5 village happily said: "I am very excited to receive gifts from the State, the procedures are also very quick and convenient, so I and all the people who received Independence Day gifts are very happy."

Ms. Khuat Thi Hoa in Hamlet 2, Phuc Tho Commune said: “We are very happy to receive the attention and gifts from the Party, the State, the local Party Committee and authorities on the occasion of the big holiday. This is a source of encouragement for each family to have a warmer and more excited life.”

As of 10am on September 1, more than 90% of households in Phuc Tho commune had come to receive gifts. The commune strives to complete 100% by the morning of September 1.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Tung Thien Ward Nguyen Viet Dat said that the ward has issued Notice No. 115/TB-UBND dated August 31, 2025 on the payment of gifts on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2 and widely announced on the mass media about the time, location, subjects, and form of receiving money so that people in the ward know and implement.

Comrade Nguyen Viet Dat affirmed that the policy of giving gifts on Independence Day demonstrates the Party and State's concern for people's lives. Therefore, the ward directed residential groups to implement it urgently, publicly, and transparently, ensuring that every citizen receives gifts before September 2. For cases where, for various reasons, they cannot receive money on this occasion, the ward People's Committee will continue to review and make payments in accordance with Government regulations.

* In Doai Phuong commune , the commune implemented the payment of gifts for the Independence Day with a total cost of more than 4.1 billion VND, in 3 areas: Kim Son (headquarters of the Doai Phuong Commune Party Committee), Son Dong (headquarters of the Doai Phuong Commune Police), Co Dong (at 5 cultural houses).

To make the payment convenient, public, transparent, orderly and to the right recipients, the People's Committee of Doai Phuong commune has assigned specific tasks to leaders, officers and specialists of each department, office, agency and professional unit to participate in supporting, serving and guiding people in completing procedures to receive money at payment points.

The commune also updates and announces on the radio system and electronic information page the time and place of payment and related information during the implementation process, ensuring timely and prompt payment to the people.

* In Son Tay ward, from August 30, the ward People's Committee issued Notice No. 95/TB-UBND on the payment of gifts on the occasion of National Day September 2 and widely announced on mass media about the time, location, and form of receiving money so that people in the ward know and follow.

The ward has established 57 working groups including officials from departments, offices, units, schools, police, union members, youth... to carry out the task of paying Independence Day gifts, with a total amount of more than 7.2 billion VND.

* In O Dien commune, starting from the afternoon of August 31 and September 1, the commune organized gift giving to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. The giving of Independence Day gifts in cash was carried out at 59 cultural houses and meeting houses throughout the commune.

According to the reporter of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, at the Cultural Houses of Cluster 8 - Hong Ha; Cluster 3 - Ha Mo, Cluster 1 - Lien Trung; Dong Lai - Lien Hong; Cluster 2 - Tan Lap... many people came to receive gifts, the joyful and excited atmosphere was evident on everyone's face. The supporting volunteer forces also enthusiastically helped people declare their information to receive gifts early.

Ms. Quach Thi Lieu in cluster 1, Ha Mo shared: “I am very touched to receive the Independence Day gift. My family has agreed to use this money to organize a party, gather together to celebrate National Day and watch the live broadcast of the parade on TV”.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of O Dien Commune, Pham Van Khoi, said that people can receive cash directly at the residential group or through social security accounts on the VNeID electronic identification application. For families with special circumstances, difficult mobility or the elderly, representatives of the government and residential groups will come to their homes to deliver gifts. The commune police force not only ensures security and order at the gift distribution points, but also coordinates with the community digital transformation team to work day and night to update the lists of people who have received or have not received through social security accounts on the VNeID application...

* In Thanh Liet ward, the payment of gifts from the Government to the people on the occasion of Independence Day was carried out at the following locations: Vuc village cultural house, Thanh Liet ward People's Committee, Noi village cultural house, Hall of residential group No. 12 - Van Quan... the working atmosphere was urgent and serious.

The force of cadres, union members, youth, police and members of community digital transformation teams coordinated smoothly, guided people to complete procedures quickly, compared citizen identification cards accurately, ensuring publicity and transparency.

Ms. Ngo Thi Loan in Noi village shared: “Although the gift is not big, it contains the affection and care of the Government. We are very touched to receive it on the occasion of the important national holiday.”

The joy was clearly shown on the faces of the young people when they came to receive gifts from the Government. Cao Thi Tu Nhi (25 years old), from Xom Le, Trieu Khuc confided: "Receiving gifts on the occasion of a great national holiday, I feel very proud. This is the practical concern of the Party and State to motivate our young generation to contribute to our homeland."

* In Nam Phu commune, Mr. La Van Dung in village 3 - Van Phuc, Nam Phu commune confided: "This is the first time in my life that I have received a gift from the Party and the State, and it is right on the special occasion of the 80th anniversary of Independence Day. At that moment, I felt a strong sense of pride. I am so happy to be a Vietnamese citizen.
