Da Nang tourism bustles with visitors during September 2nd holiday

DNO - Tourist attractions in Da Nang city are bustling with visitors during the September 2nd holiday this year.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang, on the occasion of the September 2nd holiday this year, people will have 4 days off (from August 30 to September 2, 2025), equivalent to 2024.

The total number of tourists visiting Da Nang city is expected to grow quite well, higher than in 2024. The average room occupancy rate is estimated at 55 - 60%.

Some tourist attractions that welcomed a large number of visitors during this year's holiday include Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area, Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, Mikazuki 365 Water Park, 365 VinWonders Nam Hoi An Water Park, Hoi An Ancient Town, etc.

On this occasion, Da Nang Museum, Cham Sculpture Museum, Da Nang Fine Arts Museum and Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot will open free of charge on September 2. These are special cultural tourist attractions of Da Nang city; they have been and are being upgraded and renovated to enhance the visitor experience.

At Da Nang Museum, although free tickets have not been applied from August 30 to September 1, the museum still attracts a lot of people and tourists to visit, check-in, and learn about historical stories.

From August 29 to September 2, 2025, there will be 730 flights landing at Da Nang International Airport, with an average frequency of 146 flights/day, an increase of 25.9% over the same period in 2024.

Of which, there are 436 domestic flights and 294 international flights. Chu Lai Airport welcomed 34 domestic flights, equivalent to the same period in 2024.
