On August 28, 2025, the Prime Minister issued Official Dispatch No. 149/CD-TTg on giving gifts to the People on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. The Official Dispatch stated: In the jubilant atmosphere of the whole country, to continue to show the deep concern of the Party and State for all the People, implementing the direction of General Secretary To Lam, the Government Party Committee submitted to the Politburo the policy of organizing gift giving to all people, at the level of 100,000 VND/person.

Immediately after the telegram was issued, Phu Dien ward organized a review and update of the population in the area, ensuring the gift giving was accurate, timely and fair. At the same time, the entire political system was mobilized to participate, especially the youth union, the grassroots police force, villages, hamlets, etc.

On the morning of September 1, in residential groups in Phu Dien ward, the atmosphere became more bustling than usual when many people came to receive Independence Day gifts.

Mr. Hoang Duc Tan was moved: "We, the people, are very happy to receive the attention of the Party and the State, especially during the important days of the nation. Although the value is not large, this is a meaningful gift, showing the attention of the local government to each household. Receiving the gift on the occasion of National Day, we feel very warm."

Immediately after receiving the notice from the Head of the Neighborhood Group, Ms. Nguyen Mai Huong went to the Cultural House where she lives to receive gifts to celebrate National Day, September 2.

"The fact that the State distributes money to the people on September 2 makes me feel extremely happy and proud. This is not only a practical concern for people's lives but also an important milestone, showing that our country is on the path of strong development, with enough potential to share the results with the people," Ms. Huong shared.

According to the records, the gift distribution was organized thoughtfully and neatly. People came to receive gifts according to the pre-announced time frame, ensuring order, safety and convenience.

"I am very happy to receive a gift of 100,000 VND from the Party and the State to celebrate National Day September 2. This amount of money is very meaningful, showing the care and concern of the Party and the State for the people of the whole country in general and us students in particular. I will try to spend it as reasonably as possible," said Anh Huy.

It can be said that the giving of Independence Day gifts demonstrates the spirit of mutual love and affection, affirming the bond between the government and the people. The gifts, though simple, have brought joy and excitement to many households, contributing to making the National Day more complete and warm.
