At the same time, on September 1, it continued to implement the cash payment to people in the hamlets in the ward for 30,753 households, with 144,280 permanent residents, 183 people currently residing and 1 person temporarily residing.

Ms. Khuu Thi Kim Phung, 64 years old, residing in Dong An 2 hamlet, Long Xuyen ward, updated her bank account number to the "Social security account" on the VNeID application to receive a gift of 100,000 VND to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

“Since August 30, I have updated my bank account number on the VneID application. The very next day, August 31, I received VND600,000 from a family of 6 in my bank account. I am very happy and grateful for the very humane and practical policy of the Party and State towards the people. With this money, my family will use it to buy new clothes and school supplies for my grandchild in the new school year,” said Ms. Khuu Thi Kim Phung.

At 7:00 a.m. on September 1, a large number of people in Tri Ton Hamlet, Hon Dat Commune, An Giang Province gathered at the Hon Dat Commune Police Headquarters to receive gifts on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2. Mr. Dinh Ngoc Sang (residing in Son Tan hamlet, Hon Dat commune) said: “Although the implementation time is urgent, the local government organized the gift distribution very closely, in order, with priority given to the elderly. On August 30, the People's Committee of An Giang province issued a decision on supplementing funds for the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to give gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Specifically, the People's Committee of An Giang province decided to supplement the 2025 budget for the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones, an amount of more than VND 491 billion to implement the policy of giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 from the targeted additional source from the central budget to the local budget according to Decision No. 1867/QD-TTg, dated August 29, 2025 of the Prime Minister.
