Quang Nam organizes joyful, warm and healthy Mid-Autumn Festival activities for children

The People's Committee of Quang Nam province requests departments, branches, associations, unions, and People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities to create conditions for children in the area to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival happily, warmly, and practically, promoting the fine traditions of the nation.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, sectors, associations, unions, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to develop a plan to organize Mid-Autumn Festival activities for children in the area in accordance with the actual situation of the locality, ensuring safety, health, practicality and economy; organize useful artistic and recreational activities, promote the good and unique cultural values of the nation.

At the same time, strengthen the dissemination of legal regulations on child work; promote communication and consultation on child protection, prevention of violence, abuse and injuries to children in the community.

In addition, care for, visit, encourage and support children in special circumstances, children from poor households, near-poor households, children in ethnic minority areas, remote areas, children with serious illnesses or illnesses requiring long-term treatment; promote the role of family, community and society in caring for children.

Actively mobilize people to respond and contribute to the construction of the Children's Protection Fund at all levels; coordinate with competent authorities to promptly resolve cases of violence, abuse, accidents and injuries to children; strictly handle agencies, organizations,educational institutions and individuals who conceal, fail to report or denounce cases and acts of violating children's rights.

The Provincial People's Committee also requested units and localities to strengthen inspection and examination of food hygiene and safety at establishments producing and trading food for the Mid-Autumn Festival, food for children that does not meet quality standards, counterfeit goods, expired goods. Organize inspection and strictly handle entertainment service points for children that do not meet safety standards, establishments trading in toys and toxic cultural products that endanger the health and healthy mental development of children...
