Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club has said goodbye to a total of 18 players and coaching staff after failing to win the right to play in the 2025-2026 V-League.

With great ambitions to be promoted, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club has invested heavily in its players in the 2024-2025 First Division. The Southeast team won the runner-up position and a place in the play-off match for promotion.

However, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club lost 0-2 toSHB Da Nang - the team ranked second to last in V-League 2024-2025 in the play-off match at the end of June at Thong Nhat Stadium.

Unable to be promoted, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club has made a major reform in terms of both players and coaching staff.

After reaching an agreement with coach Nguyen Viet Thang to lead the team to replace coach Huynh Quoc Anh whose loan contract from SHB Da Nang Club ended, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club said goodbye to a series of players and coaching staff to make way for the new coaching staff.

On the morning of July 10, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club announced that it would part ways with five more players: Nguyen Khac Vu, Tran Anh Thi, Truong Du Dat, Tran Nhat Ha and Tran Dam Phuc Thinh; bringing the total number of players who will have to leave the team after the 2024-2025 season to 13.

Previously, this team said goodbye to 8 players: Tran Phi Son, Nguyen Van Quy, Tran Manh Hung, Le Van Nam, Tong Anh Ty, Hoang Minh Tam, Nguyen Tai Loc and Duong Van Trung.

In addition, 5 members of the coaching staff also had to leave: assistant Ueno Nobuhiro (Japan), goalkeeper coach Dang Dinh Duc, fitness coach Nguyen Ngoc An, doctor Truong Van Nga and interpreter Hoang Nhat Hoang.

In the second leg of the 2024-2025 First Division, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club registered 29 players. So 13 players leaving is a number that is nearly half of the squad, and this number promises to not stop in the near future.

Despite many liquidations, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club has only reached agreements with 6 new players: Minh Vuong, Le Van Son (Hoang Anh Gia Lai), Luong Xuan Truong (Hong Linh Ha Tinh), Tran Quang Thinh (Nam Dinh) and Thanh Thao (HCMC).

The team is also actively looking for a foreign striker for the 2025-2026 First Division, when teams are allowed to register 1 foreign player compared to last season.
