Quang Binh prepares public housing to welcome Quang Tri officials after merger

(PLVN) - To facilitate officials from Quang Tri to work in the new administrative center after the merger, Quang Binh province is renovating and arranging many suitable accommodation facilities to meet the needs of nearly 1,200 people.

According to the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, after the merger into the new Quang Tri province, there were 1,194 cadres, civil servants and public employees from Quang Tri province registered to reside in Dong Hoi City, of which 102 people were under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.

To ensure accommodation for this group of officials, Quang Binh province is implementing a plan to arrange official housing and accommodation. Specifically, 102 officials with a position allowance coefficient of 0.7 or higher will be accommodated at the Center for the Development of North Central Women (Quang Phu commune), with 65 rooms, accommodating about 121 people. In addition, some cases will be accommodated at the province's official housing.

With the remaining 1,092 staff, the province is renovating three facilities: Dong Hoi City Continuing Education Center Headquarters (56 rooms, 112 people); Block C, Quang Binh University (67 rooms, 124 people); and the old College of Economics (100 rooms, 176 people). In total, these facilities are expected to accommodate more than 530 people.
