Compared to the announcement on August 13, the time for banning, temporary banning, and restricting vehicles is 5 hours earlier, starting from 12:00 on August 27 to 2:00 on August 28.
The routes where all vehicles are strictly prohibited (except for vehicles with security badges and vehicles serving the celebration) include: Hoang Hoa Tham, Thuy Khue (from Hung Vuong to Van Cao), Mai Xuan Thuong, Quan Thanh, Phan Dinh Phung, Hung Vuong, Hoang Van Thu, Doc Lap, Chua Mot Cot, Bac Son, Ton That Dam, Nguyen Canh Chan, Hoang Dieu, Cua Bac, Yen Phu, Thanh Nien.
There are also the following streets: Dien Bien Phu, Ba Huyen Thanh Quan, Le Hong Phong, Ong Ich Khiem, Ngoc Ha, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Chu Van An, Ton Duc Thang, Cat Linh, Trinh Hoai Duc, Hang Chao, Tran Phu, Son Tay, Kim Ma, Lieu Giai, Van Cao, Nghi Tam, Doi Can, Doc La-Pho, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Le Duan, Tran Nhan Tong (from Le Duan to Quang Trung), Trang Thi, Hang Khay, Trang Tien, Co Tan, Phan Chu Trinh (from Hai Ba Trung to Trang Tien).
Le Thanh Tong, Tong Dan (from Ly Dao Thanh to Trang Tien), Tran Quang Khai, Tran Khanh Du, Quang Trung (from Ly Thuong Kiet to Trang Thi), Ly Thai To, Nguyen Huu Huan, Ngo Quyen (from State Bank Square to Trang Tien), Giang Vo, Lang Ha, Lang (from Lang Ha to Tran Duy Hung) streets are also completely banned during the above time frame.
Thus, compared to the second training session on August 24, the number of banned routes has not changed, but the total ban period has been extended.
Also from 12:00 on August 27 to 2:00 on August 28, Hanoi City Police temporarily banned vehicles on the roads inside Ring Road 1, except for vehicles with security badges, vehicles serving the Anniversary Ceremony, priority vehicles, vehicles on official duty, buses, garbage collection vehicles, and vehicles handling and troubleshooting incidents.
The routes in the area from Ring Road 1 to Ring Road 2 will be temporarily banned for trucks with a total designed weight of 1.5 tons or more, and passenger cars with 16 seats or more. The temporary ban will take place when the convoy serving the A80 festival passes by, after which vehicles will be allowed to circulate normally.
The city police recommend that passenger transport vehicles with less than 16 seats, private cars, and motorbikes limit their circulation on routes from Ring Road 2 to Ring Road 3; and vehicles limit their travel from Ring Road 1 to Ring Road 2.
Some routes from Ring Road 3 to the suburbs such as National Highway 32, Cau Dien, Ho Tung Mau, Le Duc Tho, Le Quang Dao, Thang Long Avenue, Lang Van Hoa Street, National Highway 21A, Ho Chi Minh Road, National Highway 6, Quang Trung, Tran Phu, Nguyen Trai, Provincial Road 419, Provincial Road 429, Vo Nguyen Giap, National Highway 18, Hanoi City Police restrict vehicle traffic (except buses, garbage collection vehicles, incident response vehicles, vehicles with security badges, vehicles serving the Anniversary Ceremony).
Instructions for going around the forbidden road
During the period of road closure and vehicle restriction, Hanoi City Police will organize directions for temporarily banned cars from National Highway 5, Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway, Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway to Cau Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway, moving through Thanh Tri Bridge - Ring Road 3 - Do Muoi Intersection - Cau Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway.
Vehicles from the Eastern provinces (Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh...) to the Northern, Western, and Northwestern provinces (Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang...) travel along the route: Phu Dong bridge - Thanh Tri bridge - elevated beltway 3 - Thang Long bridge - Vo Van Kiet...; or from National Highway 5 - Nguyen Duc Thuan - Thanh Tri bridge approach road - Phu Dong bridge - Hanoi - Bac Giang expressway - Hanoi - Thai Nguyen expressway to Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang provinces... and vice versa.
Vehicles from the Northern provinces (Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho...) to the Southern provinces (Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa...) travel along the route: National Highway 2 - Vo Van Kiet - Thang Long Bridge - Ring Road 3 - Do Muoi Intersection - Cau Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway.
Trucks with a total designed weight of 10 tons or more traveling on the elevated Ring Road 3 are restricted from moving down to intersections on Pham Van Dong, Pham Hung, Khuat Duy Tien, and Nguyen Xien streets.
Hanoi Police recommend that people from provinces and localities coming to Hanoi to participate in the activities of the Anniversary use passenger cars, public transport, especially the elevated train; walk on some streets in Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem, Cua Nam, Hai Ba Trung, Giang Vo, Ngoc Ha wards and locations around Ba Dinh Square.
On September 2, Vietnam will hold a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (A80) at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi. The parade will have the full participation of forces, including land, motorized, airborne and water forces. The parade will have more than 16,000 people, including 43 walking units, 18 standing units and 14 military and special vehicles of the Army and Police.
