Immediately after the launching ceremony, more than 300 people representing organizations such as veterans, women, farmers, youth union, environmental workers and tourist area staff simultaneously participated in collecting garbage, water hyacinth (flowing from the upstream river), and cleaning the beach. The coastal area was quickly restored to its neat and clean appearance, creating urban beauty during the peak tourist season.
Not only to respond to Vietnam Tourism Day (July 9), the activity also contributes to spreading the spirit of community responsibility for the environment, affirming the message: "Every citizen is an environmental protection soldier. Every small action for a green, clean, beautiful beach". Thereby, building Nam Sam Son ward to be more and more civilized, attractive, and friendly in the eyes of tourists from near and far.
