On October 8, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Information and Communications commended and honored collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in grassroots information activities.
The conference honored 58 collectives and 62 outstanding individuals selected from 63 provinces and cities across the country. In particular, Phu Tho province had a collective of the Thanh Son District Culture - Sports - Tourism and Communication Center, and an individual, comrade Nguyen Cong Tinh - Officer in charge of the Hung Hoa Town Radio Station, Tam Nong District, was honored.
The conference, which was held for the first time on a national scale, promptly commended and honored collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in grassroots information activities; encouraged, motivated and created a forum for grassroots information workers to exchange, connect, and share good experiences and creative ways of doing things. This is also a motivation for grassroots information workers to continue to contribute and make important contributions to the socio -economic development of the locality.
