After a week filled with the atmosphere of “absolute cinema”, DANAFF III officially ended in a solemn atmosphere. The closing night was a success with the participation of many famous singers, actors, directors, filmmakers...
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Deputy Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, said that the 3rd Da Nang Asian Film Festival in 2025 (DANAFF III) is a cultural event of special significance not only to Da Nang City, but also to the Asian film community.
Da Nang City is proud to become a new meeting place of Asian cinema - where stories, aspirations and human values are shared and spread through the language of images and emotions.

“This year's film festival not only honors outstanding works but also opens up in-depth dialogues about the future of the film industry through seminars, workshops, acting classes, and “Talent Incubation”. The companionship and development of regional film industries is the driving force for us to continue building an increasingly professional, creative and humane event in the coming years”, the Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee emphasized.
At DANAFF III 2025, 12 awards were given to the best works and individuals in 2 categories. In the category of “Asian Film Competition”, the film “Border Transactions” by director Dastan Zhapar Ryskeldi won the best film award; The Special Jury Prize went to the film “Rain on the Butterfly Wings” by director Duong Dieu Linh.

The film "Sister-in-law" by director Khuong Ngoc won the "best film" award in the category of Vietnamese films; the "Special Jury Award" went to the film "Trang Quynh Nhi: The Legend of Kim Nguu" directed by Meritorious Artist Trinh Lam Tung.

The NECPAT Award for Best Vietnamese Film went to "Sister-in-law" by director Khuong Ngoc. At the "Asian Cinema Panorama" program, the "Asian Film Critics Award" was given on Sunday.
The “Audience Choice Award for Most Favorite Vietnamese Film” went to the animated film “Cricket: Adventure to the Swamp Village”. The two best director awards went to director Victor Vu (Vietnamese film) and director Guan Hu (Asian film).
The awards for best actor and actress respectively went to actors Tuan Tran - Film Getting Rich with Ghosts; Viet Huong - Film Sister-in-law; Kang - Shang Lee and Nurzhan Beksultanova.

In addition, the “Best Screenplay” award went to screenwriters Ladan Shirmard, Ebrahim Azizi (Asian Film Competition) and Pham Thi Thanh Thu, Nguyen Pham Hoang Quan, Tran Huu Tan (Vietnamese Film Competition).
