Impact of storm No. 5, adjusting the opening location of the National Achievement Exhibition

VHO - On August 26, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism sent Official Dispatch No. 4363/BVHTTDL-MTNATL to central departments, ministries, branches, and organizations; ministerial-level agencies, government agencies; People's Committees of provinces and cities; agencies, enterprises, and units participating in the exhibition, regarding the announcement of the adjustment of the opening venue of the "National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day".

The document stated: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has sent invitations to the Opening Ceremony to agencies and units participating in the "Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025)".

However, due to the impact of storm No. 5 (storm Kajiki), to ensure safety and organization conditions, the Organizing Committee decided to adjust the venue of the Exhibition Opening Ceremony as follows:

Location: Grandballroom, VinPalace Convention Center, National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City.

Time and other contents: No change.

Agencies and units are requested to inform their delegates and coordinate closely with the Organizing Committee so that the ceremony takes place safely, solemnly and successfully.

According to the plan of the Organizing Committee of the "National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day", at 8:30 a.m. on August 27, the rehearsal program will take place at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi).

At the rehearsal program, phase 1, from 8:30 - 9:00, the Organizing Committee will check the preparation work at the Grandballroom, VinPalace Convention Center and exhibition areas, entrance gates, and backstage areas.

Participants in the rehearsal include: Standing Office of the Organizing Committee, Heads of the Reception, Logistics, Security, Medical Subcommittees; Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company; personnel in charge of reception, logistics, sound and lighting engineering, stage LED, security, and medical work.

Representatives of the Sub-Committees report to the Head of the Organizing Committee on the following tasks: Reception, reporting on the process of welcoming delegates; traffic flow to welcome guests to the opening ceremony. Traffic flow of Party and State leaders and guests attending the opening ceremony; facilities and equipment in the area of ​​the stage where the opening ceremony is held; security plans, traffic flow, medical and first aid positions; security and safety plans.

Phase 2, from 9am - 10am, opening ceremony rehearsal, at the Grandballroom, VinPalace Convention Center.

Attending were: Members of the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee; Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company; ceremonial team, event coordinator, MC, art performance group, technical department serving the stage.

The main task is to rehearse the art program and the opening ceremony.

Phase 3, from 10am - 11am, general rehearsal of the exhibition space, at Kim Quy Exhibition House, Outdoor exhibition space, Block A Exhibition House.

Attending the rehearsal were: Steering Committee, Organizing Committee, Heads of Sub-committees, Representatives of participating agencies/units; representatives of leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and organizations participating in the exhibition; representatives of leaders of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities; representatives of Vingroup Corporation and TLVN Fair Center Joint Stock Company; representatives of leaders of state-owned enterprises, private enterprises and units participating in the exhibition.

The task of this phase is to inspect each exhibition area, evaluate progress, aesthetics, safety, and content; the inspection work is organized according to a group plan, under the direct management of the Head of the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee to ensure the progress and quality of the rehearsal.

Phase 4, from 11:00 - 11:30, the Organizing Committee of "National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th National Day Anniversary" will hold a summary meeting at the Grandballroom, VinPalace Convention Center.

Participants include: Steering Committee, Organizing Committee, Heads of Sub-committees, Representatives of participating agencies/units; representatives of leaders of central departments, ministries, branches and organizations participating in the exhibition; representatives of leaders of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities; representatives of Vingroup Corporation and Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company; representatives of leaders of state-owned enterprises, private enterprises and units participating in the exhibition.

Here, the Steering Committee and Organizing Committee evaluated the results of the rehearsal, noted necessary adjustments, and completed the plan for the Opening Ceremony.
