102nd meeting of the Provincial People's Committee: Approval of draft resolution on a number of key construction projects

(BDO) On the afternoon of June 23, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the 102nd meeting of the Provincial People's Committee. Also attending were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

At the meeting, 13 contents were approved and 9 contents of the draft were given opinions, such as: Resolution on adjusting the BOT project to upgrade and expand National Highway 13 (expected to be invested with more than 6,200 billion VND to recover capital in the form of toll collection, creating synchronization when Ho Chi Minh City plans to invest about 13,000 billion VND to expand and upgrade National Highway 13, the section from Binh Trieu Bridge to the border with Binh Duong, contributing to solving traffic congestion on the route); Resolution on investment policy to complete the My Phuoc - Tan Van route (expected to invest 20,158 billion VND in the form of PPP and collect road tolls from invested services from National Highway 1A to Ho Chi Minh Road, scale from 6 to 10 lanes with 19 underpasses and overpasses);...

The meeting also gave opinions on the assignment of the research and proposal of an investment plan for the elevated road, from Go Dua intersection to Khanh Van bridge intersection under the PPP method. This is a vital project, a radial axis connecting Ring Roads 2, 3, and 4, contributing to the fastest transportation of goods and passengers to the center of Ho Chi Minh City; at the same time connecting large industrial parks to seaports such as Cat Lai Port, Thi Vai Port, and Hiep Phuoc Port. The total length of the project from Go Dua intersection to Khanh Van bridge intersection is more than 15.5km, with a scale of 8 urban lanes, 6 elevated lanes, and a road surface width of 60m...
