Attending the event were more than 170 delegates, including leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Police, Veterans Association, Farmers' Association, Youth Union, Women's Union and heads of women's associations of hamlets in Region III of 4 communes: Trung Khanh, Dinh Phong, Doai Duong and Dam Thuy.
After the 2-level local government came into operation , the Women's Union of 4 communes: Trung Khanh, Dinh Phong, Doai Duong, Dam Thuy maintained 140 zalo groups with more than 8,000 members participating; the Association's Facebook page posted 39 news and articles promoting typical examples of good people and good deeds in implementing the Association's movements and activities , contributing to the convenience in gathering , managing members, and sharing information quickly and promptly.
At the workshop, delegates were provided with basic knowledge on the following topics: Digital transformation and the role of digital transformation for female cadres in ethnic minority areas; skills in interacting with online documents; exploiting applications on mobile devices; skills in storing data and communicating on the network environment and instructions, sharing knowledge, skills in exploiting and using social network information safely... Focus on discussing to clarify the advantages and difficulties, sharing some good models, effective methods in applying information technology and promoting the digital transformation process. Members suggested that the Provincial Women's Union open training courses to guide the use of devices in applying information technology and digital transformation at the grassroots level.
Through the workshop, improve the level and skills of applying information technology and digital transformation for grassroots Union officials, especially Union officials in remote areas with little access to information technology.
