Lang Son province implements gift giving to the people

Implementing the directive documents of the Central Committee and Lang Son Provincial Party Committee on giving gifts to the People on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, today, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting and issued Notice No. 299, dated August 30, 2025 on implementing the organization of giving gifts to the People on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Accordingly, the provincial authorities will review and provide the number and list of gift recipients in the province, ensuring the correct recipients, safety, timeliness, no duplication, security, order and safety for the gift giving. Urgently develop a plan, arrange human resources to organize gift giving to people in the area in accordance with practical conditions, convenient for people from August 31, 2025 and complete no later than September 1, 2025 in 2 forms (giving gifts through social security accounts and giving gifts directly in cash). For giving gifts directly in cash, in case of objective reasons, gifts can be received after this deadline, but no later than September 15, 2025. Each person will receive 100,000 VND. The estimated budget allocated for this gift giving period is over 86.7 billion VND.

The authorities shall widely disseminate to the people the State's policy of giving gifts to the people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, and at the same time compile reports on the results of daily payments to the people and send them to the Provincial People's Committee. People shall follow the official instructions to avoid being scammed. The Provincial People's Committee Office shall notify relevant agencies to implement./.
